Aeronautical installations
:
- Two hangars (180 m long x 24 m
wide x 7 m height/ 3 300 m²) able to accommodate twenty
aircraft.
- Two lifts able to carry a 15 t
fighter (16 m long x 12 m wide) ; the first one is situated on the
starboard, behind the island and the second one is situated in
front of the island.
- A flight deck (259 m long/ 8 800
m²) with a main runway (165. 50 m x 29. 50 m) angled 8°
and a parking (93 m x 28 m).
- Two Mitchell Brown BS-5 catapults
(length : 50 m) able to launch one 15 t fighter a minute. The
first one at the bow of the ship and the latter on the angled
deck.
- Four arresting wires.
- A 15 t crane.
- An optical mirror landing system
with a OP3 French optic.
